Mindfulness Training

There are several ways to approach meditation practice. The most basic exercises have a good amount of scientific data supporting them.  If you haven't practiced before, there are no mysteries, no secret practices or riddles just steady effort, honesty and time.

As a fully licensed clinical health psychologist William encourages a regular practice of meditation to lead and/or support a psychotherapeutic process. In addition to mindfulness practices William uses the following approaches with his clients. 

  • Mindfulness Based Therapies (MBCT, MBSR
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Graded Exercise programs (for chronic pain patients)

Group workshops

It's tough to do this practice alone! Develop these practices with the support of a group. There are 3 levels of 8 week  workshops and one day retreats in between. Make some wholesome friendships along the way.
